John Geyer

John leads MetLife’s Enterprise Innovation Office driving processes focused on creating new forms of value for customers, associates and business partners. Prior, John led an Enterprise Operating Model redesign effort that developed a global operating framework that better positions MetLife for future growth. Before MetLife, John spent nine years at Gartner where he led the Financial Services Research practice and later managed various corporate functions relating to strategy, planning and innovation. He also served for nine years as a divisional CIO at GE and held IT management positions at Drexel Burnham, Citibank and NY Life Insurance Company. John is a thought leader in IT and has been a regular columnist for Forbes and Ziff Davis.
